Boise Art Museum Secures 40-year Lease for Facility in Julia Davis Park

Boise Art Museum signed a long-term, 40-year lease that will allow it to continue to serve the community from its historically significant Museum facility in Julia Davis Park.

Boise Art Museum built the original building in 1936. Over the years, with the help of generous donors, the Museum expanded the building to more than ten times its original size. Today, we are the only nationally accredited collecting art museum within a 300-mile radius, with a Permanent Collection of more than 4,000 artworks.

Boise Art Museum fulfills its educational mission through exceptional art exhibitions and acclaimed art education programs for tens of thousands of school children and their families across the state of Idaho and in underserved communities.
