Boise Art Museum seeks an Administrative Assistant to support its non-profit mission by providing excellent administrative and executive support as well as customer service. Occasional evening and weekend work required.  Please send resume, cover letter, and three references to Rebecca@boiseartmuseum.org.

Minimum Qualifications
Proficiency with desktop computer, presentation software, spreadsheet software, database software (Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher).  Excellent organization, customer service, administrative skills and time management are required.  Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all responsibilities.  Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills (written and spoken). Ability to take direction as well as independent initiative and work well with a variety of people including employees, volunteers, vendors, and clients.  Must maintain confidentiality at all times.  Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Boise Art Museum’s Visitor Services Associates support the mission and safety of the Museum by sharing knowledge about exhibitions and keeping artwork and people safe. Visitor Services Associates help provide positive experiences for visitors of all ages, assist in event set-up and take-down, and staff exhibition openings.

We are currently seeking a Visitor Services Associate who can work up to 20 hours per week, with an average of 12-16 per week. This position requires working weekends, and some week nights during special events or on First Thursday.
