Boise Art Museum seeks a Development Manager to work with the Executive Director, staff and board to identify, define and acquire funding for the Museum through corporate, foundation, government and individual sources to serve the non-profit mission of the organization.  The Development Manager serves in a donor relations capacity through coordination of BAM’s database and stewardship activities. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years experience in fund development with a focus on grants and sponsorships.  Composition and language skills in technical and persuasive writing in grant and sponsor proposals.  Competency with desktop computer, presentation software, and database applications.  Proficiency with grants.gov platform. BA or BS in related topic. Master’s Degree in related topic beneficial.

Boise Art Museum seeks a Curator of Art to serve as a thought partner and change agent through scheduling, organizing, designing, managing, and installing the Museum’s art exhibitions in fulfillment of the Museum’s mission. The Curator of Art enhances the educational role of the institution through interpretation of original works of art including the Museum’s Permanent Collection, with labels, catalogues, and other materials. Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of curatorial experience, including project management, at an established museum. Competency with desktop computer, presentation software, spreadsheet software. Effective presentation skills. Ability to discuss complex art, fundraising, and marketing issues at all levels of the organization and public. At least two (2) years of personnel management experience.

Master’s degree in art history, or equivalent; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate should excel at working in a fast-paced and dynamic organization, and must have flexible availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Vaccination Status

Boise Art Museum has a duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards and to do our part in safeguarding the health of our co-workers and their families as well as the community at large.  As a condition of employment, we require all Boise Art Museum employees and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by their start date. According to the CDC, fully vaccinated by the start date of employment means it has been two weeks since a person received the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Our desire is to continue to fulfill our educational mission for the community, and our first priority is to create a safe workplace.
