Help us knit, cover and adorn the Boise Art Museum! Community Day: At the Center of the Earth will be held on Saturday, June 2 from noon to 4:00 p.m. to celebrate the imaginative work of internationally known artist Nick Cave. During Community Day, artists and visitors will collaborate to create knitted, stitched, wrapped or sewn works of art to temporarily adorn the exterior of our building and sculptures in BAM’s outdoor Sculpture Garden area. Cave creates large, costume-like works of art called Soundsuits. A description of the exhibition and images of his artwork can be found on BAM’s website: http://www.boiseartmuseum.org/nickcave/.
More information about exciting programs and events throughout the exhibition Nick Cave: Meet Me at the Center of the Earth can be found on BAM’s website at www.www.boiseartmuseum.org.
