BAM’s ArtReach Program serves schools outside Ada County. A BAM trained educator travels to classrooms and engages students for 90 minutes in lively discussions and hands-on activities related to BAM’s collection and the classroom curricula. Visits are developed for pre-K through twelfth grades.

Beginning August 22, 2016, classroom teachers may call 345-8330 ext. 36 to make a reservation at least three weeks in advance. Only the classroom teacher may make reservations. ArtReach visits are provided September 15, 2015 – May 27, 2016.
|Times: The program is offered Tuesday through Friday, September 19, 2016 through May 26, 2017. Morning and afternoon times available. One visit per classroom. Cost: This program is free for schools outside of Ada County, within a 50-mile radius of the Museum. Thanks to the generous grant support from the J.R. Simplot Company Foundation and Gladys E. Langroise Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation, and the Whittenberger Foundation, the $60 visit/materials fee is waived. In addition, students who participate in BAM’s ArtReach Program will receive a Free Return Pass to visit the Museum.Content: Before your visit, an ArtReach Instructor will contact you to discuss the ways in which the visit can enhance classroom curricula. A Pre-Visit Art Pack will be emailed to you prior to the visit to help prepare the students and to offer ideas for extending the experience beyond BAM’s visit.|
