The Boise Art Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, educational, and charitable organization. BAM is the only nationally accredited, collecting art museum in the State of Idaho—accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM) and is among only 4% of museums nationwide to hold this distinction. For over 70 years, Boise Art Museum has been providing access to the visual arts for people of all ages, incomes, and abilities. For example, BAM’s Free School Tour and ArtReach Programs serve more than 15,000 school-age children every year!
BAM serves more than 70,000 families, adults, seniors, children, students, teens and teachers each year. The museum experience includes opportunities to connect with a variety of artwork through:
- new and diverse art exhibitions
- a diverse, rotating permanent collection of art
- educational programs, art camps, and studio classes for people of all ages
- events and fundraisers throughout the year.
BAM depends on the generosity of individual donors, grantors, business sponsors, and BAM members. Below are some ways YOU can support Boise Art Museum and make a positive difference in the cultural life of our community.
