Teacher Professional Development

Teacher Education

BAM’s Summer Teacher Institutes focus on integrating art into classroom curricula, building teacher knowledge and skills in the studio, and experimenting with hands-on, learner-centered facilitation. Investigate artwork in the Museum and create art in the studios. Collaborate with teachers across subject and grade levels. Design projects and materials for use in your own teaching environment inspired by BAM’s current exhibitions. Participants can anticipate daily art-making projects and gallery activities at BAM, paired with articles, videos, and individual projects to be completed at home.

Register for two optional Boise State or Northwest Nazarene professional development credits.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO START DATE. Classes fill quickly.
