CLASSES FOR ADULTS

BAM’s studio art program encourages the creative abilities of all participants by offering experiences in a variety of art media which provide opportunities for making connections with BAM’s exhibitions. Through reputable artists and educators, we provide quality instruction for all ages in a small-class, non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere.  Class size is limited to optimize learning.  Participants must pre-register to reserve a space as class size is limited.  Please dress for mess!

Explore drawing with the Boise Art Museum. Inspired by Boise Art Museum’s exhibition Construction, Deconstruction, and Abstraction: The Art of James Castle, students will practice basic drawing techniques and working through observation by exploring perspective and still life collections. A variety of styles, subjects, and formats will be introduced. No prior drawing experience is necessary. All levels are welcome. This class is FULL.

EXPERIENCES FOR CHILDREN

BAM Full-Day Camps for Children

Add excitement to your child’s Spring Break or summer with a fun-filled day or week of art experiences. Camp is limited to 20 students for individualized attention and safety. Students should dress for messy activities and wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather. Bring a sack lunch, drink and water bottle each day. A Medical Information Card for each student will be mailed when the registration form is received. The student may attend only after the form has been completed, signed and returned to BAM. Children are required to be checked in and out of classes and camps at BAM by a parent or guardian each day.

BAM Half-Day Camps for Children

BAM’s studio art program encourages the creative ability of all participants by facilitating experiences in a variety of arts media and making connections with original works of art in BAM’s exhibitions. Through reputable artists and educators, we provide quality instruction for all ages in a small-class, non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere. Children are required to be checked in and out of classes and camps at BAM by a parent or guardian each day.
Offered for students ages 4-12
Within each class, students are grouped by age to provide individualized instruction and attention.
